Mentoring and Coaching
Mentoring is the way in which business leaders can gain personal control of a situation within their business that is causing concern.
The process involves a confidentiality agreement at the start, a branch and roots analysis of the present business, and then an exploration of ideas to see where you want to go with your business, what are the key elements that are/not working ,and then agree a plan of action for you to achieve your aims.
In Mentoring, you have the ideas, you decide on time scales, objectives, andwhether you actually want to do anything about it!
As an accredited Business Mentor through the Business League, I listen to what you want to achieve, then facilitate your decisions.
Coaching is about guiding and changing to meet a set of objectives, or an end state, eg:’ I want to be able to conduct my own disciplinaries safely in the future’ or ‘ I want to be able to manage my team better’.
The normal process involves a set of sessions designed to explore your needs, what do we want to achieve, where are we now, what are my options, and what am I going to do about it, if anything!
Each of these can be very powerful in your personal and business life…
